Before becoming the manager of Out The Box Media and the Assistant Program Director & On-Air Personality for iHeart Media's 93.1 The Beat in Louisville KY, 12 began his professional career as an in-house producer and engineer at On The One Studios at the age of 17 during his senior year at Central High School in 1998. 

 

In 2000, 12 signed as an exclusive producer to Southern Aire Entertainment, which was distributed through Blackgound/Universal Records.  During this time 12 was able to experience being under the tutorage and in the presence of industry greats such as Static Major, Timbaland and more.  12 also earned a platinum plaque for his production participation on the Romeo Must Die soundtrack on a song titled “Woozy” performed by Playa.

 

From 2002 to 2004, 12 signed on as an exclusive producer and staff engineer for Right Bank Music, a publishing company rooted in Paris France operating out of Malibu, CA.  During this time 12 graduated from Audio Graph International in Santa Monica, CA as one of the youngest certified pro tools operators in the country at the time.  12 was also featured on 3 songs in the video game TRUE CRIMES STREETS OF LA and sung on the hook of Bubba Sparxxx’s “Back in the Mudd Again” which was theme song for Espn college gameday in 2004.  After leaving Los Angeles 12 moved to Nashville.

 

In 2005 12 mixed “My Kentucky Home” a huge radio hit performed by Universal Recording artist KD and The VilleBillies who have recently signed with Sony Records.

 

In 2007, 12 moved back to Louisville and joined the Almighty Monster Squad , a production company which founded Fort Knocks Studios in Louisville, KY.  During this time 12 began to develop and cultivate his radio production and voice over skills, a lifelong passion of his.  12 earned a reputation and a brand as a voice over artist for his creative commercials and ,in 20 11 he was given his own radio show, FTC RADIO on WWPW 1043 the Beat.  12 has produced commercials for Future’s Pluto tour, The Darrell Griffith Foundation, Coles Place and more.
